Daniel Stakoe first came to Japan in 1986. In 2001, he established Entry Japan KK to import and sell products that help people. He has identified and been a leader of new and rapidly developing market niches, including those in audio components and breathing-related devices. Dan sold his company in 2021 and is now a managing consultant. He is fortunate to have rich experience and a large network to draw from to serve his clients. Skills developed while working in M&A, corporate restructuring, regulatory approvals, and the sales and marketing of consumer products and medical devices contribute to his toolbox. Dan received his BA from the University of Michigan (1986) in economics and finance and his MBA from the University of Southern California (1998). He is grateful for the training he received from world leading institutions, including Mizuho Bank (previously Yasuda Trust Bank), Citibank, The Stanley Works, and Cochlear. Like Sisyphus forever pushing a rock uphill, Dan continues to study Japanese and has passed the highest level of the Japanese-Proficiency Language Test.
